Lucky Friday the 13th

This past Friday the 13th I was lucky enough to participate in First Round Capital Office Hours at Live Bait in NYC. The goal of Office Hours is to create an opportunity for the First Round investment team to meet local entrepreneurs and engage with them to address challenges, answer questions and provide advice rather than listen to pitches and evaluate investment risks.
While participating in this event I had the opportunity to meet many phenomenal entrepreneurs and learn about their companies, do my best to help them think through challenges they were currently facing and brainstorm with them about strategies they might pursue to move towards their goals. I love thinking about lots of new ideas and operating in a world where anything is possible. The opportunity to think like this was one of the reasons I chose to join First Round and I want to thank all the entrepreneurs who participated for making Office Hours NYC a total success. I hope you all got as much out of it as I did.
